Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, Rachel B is a driven, passionate and charismatic artist with a unique approach to her blend of Soul, Motown & Pop.

Her music is true Soul Empowerment Pop, as she likes to call it: It’s all about connecting with listeners through playful energy, hints of sass, uplifting melodies, and witty lyrics; not unlike influential performers such as Amy Winehouse, Ella Fitzgerld, and Minnie Riperton. Whether she’s singing about being a boss or tickling the ivories on a charming love song, this natural born soulstress is sure to leave you with memorable hooks that empower and just plain make you feel good. Rachel B will be releasing her debut album “I’m The Boss” on March 1st, 2016. Until then, you can find her Bossin’ it up on stages around the country and in the studio working on new music.

Rachel B, originally from Traverse City, Michigan, studied Classical Voice at Interlochen Arts Academy, but always wanted to bend the notes and break the rules with her own original music. She nurtured her sound at Berklee College of Music before deciding that it was time to get out of the classroom and on to the stage. After moving to Los Angeles, she put together a band of top notch musicians and honed her artistry by performing on stages all over Southern California. When on tour in 2014, Rachel ended up in Pittsburgh and immediately felt a special connection to the city and the people. She decided that it was the perfect place for her to continue growing as an independent artist and relocated there soon after.

Beyond the stage, Rachel B has had her songs placed on ABC shows such as General Hospital and in various independent films. She was also selected as the recipient of the prestigious Johnny Mercer Songwriting award and Berklee’s Women’s Composer Award. This young starlet has performed at venues across the country including Chicago Symphony Hall, Berklee Performance Center, South Park Amphitheater, and Flood City Music Festival, to name a few. Until you see this incredible performer live, you won’t know what you’re missing.

Let the songs tell the rest of the story.
